DBMS / RDBMS with Oracle SQL & PL/SQL
DBMS (Database Management System) is a software that helps you store, organize, and manage data in a structured way so that you can easily add, view, update, or delete information.
- An RDBMS is a DBMS based on E. F. Codd’s relational model: data is kept in tables of rows and columns, and tables are related through primary and foreign keys.
- SQL is the standard, non-procedural language of relational databases – used to define tables, manipulate data, control access and query information.
- PL/SQL is Oracle’s procedural extension of SQL – blocks, variables, control structures, exceptions, cursors, stored procedures, packages and triggers.
- This course follows a training-institute database (courses, faculty, batches, students and payments) through 24 chapters – from DBMS concepts to native dynamic SQL.
